We believe we can’t call ourselves NZ builders without giving back to the community that supports us. This means offering our capabilities and resources, financial assistance, expertise and experience, and by donating goods.
Construction isn’t just about building homes and offices.
As NZ builders, we believe we have a responsibility to support our country, community and to embrace cultural diversity. By doing this, we’re helping to build a better country for all New Zealanders.
PGC Constructors has strong family values and we view our community as part of our extended family. We also view our work as taking a journey, individually and as a group. So we want to give our community the opportunity to go on a journey too.
Caring for Our Community:
The support from PGC Constructors enables us to keep player and membership costs to affordable levels and ensure football opportunities are accessible. We aim to subside membership and players fees to aid life-long participation in football and being part of a whanau first club. We are based in Tamatea a low depravation suburb so it is vital we limit the cost barrier to local tamariki and rangitahi. Sponsorship also allows us to maintain our operational costs including running Bluewater Stadium and clubrooms – home to a number of community events reaching thousands of people annually.
Tamatea Junior Rugby are overwhelmed by the tautoko we have received from PGCONSTRUCTORS as one of our main sponsors for 2022. This sponsorship has allowed us to provide all of our Junior Rugby teams with new training and game equipment, new playing jerseys, each player receives a 2022 hoodie, an end of season club t shirt, prizegiving and club day items, reduced fees and for the first time we will be able to host a Junior Rugby club disco and more!
This sponsorship has helped reduce financial barriers for our committee, players and their whānau which allows us as a club to ensure all tamariki have the basic needs to enjoy their experience on and off the field with a club that strives to implement our core values Whanaungatanga, Manaakitanga, Kotahitanga, Wairuatanga, Kaitiakitanga, Tino Rangatiratanga.
We appreciate the time, effort and partnership that we have been able to establish with Paul and Graham who are all about supporting the tamariki in the community.
Every year we host a spectacular Christmas event for special children who live with life threatening illness, physical or intellectual impairment, domestic violence, or in underprivileged circumstances. The support from PGC Constructors is extremely helpful towards our community project here in Hawkes Bay and brings many wonderful children to the Extravaganza whom are often over looked within our community. PGC are honored to be involved with a project that aims to include all tamiriki in our community to bring them together to celebrate a holiday everyone should be able to do.
